Entirely designed and developed in Montreal in collaboration with an industrial designer, our acetate hair pin is the result of thoughtful and meticulous craftsmanship.
Every detail has been tested and refined to create an exclusive Gibou design, offering exceptional hold in the hair thanks to its curved shape and two integrated holes for better grip.

- A large pin: 11 cm x 3 cm

Each set includes a satin storage pouch certified Oeko-Tex, made in our Montreal workshop.

Production and Transparency
To stay true to our values, despite thorough research, we could not find any local supplier capable of producing this type of pin. Rather than abandoning our idea, we chose to collaborate with a BSCI-certified factory (Business Social Compliance Initiative), an international standard that ensures fair working conditions: respect for workers' rights, fair wages, reasonable working hours, and the fight against forced labor and child labor. Additionally, the selected factory operates on hydroelectric power, reducing its environmental footprint. This choice allows us to offer a product that meets not only our quality standards but also our commitment to responsible production values.
Acetate
Made from acetate, a durable material that is gentle on the hair and built to last, this pin provides a sustainable and stylish alternative to traditional bobby pins. Acetate is known for its durability and resistance to wear, ensuring it lasts for years, or even gets passed down through generations.
