How long have you been knitting Gibou items?

I have been knitting for Gibou since September 2015.

How did you start knitting? (if not with Gibou)

I learned to knit with needles with my cousins when I was 12 years old, and I started crocheting with Gibou.

Where do you knit, and in what circumstances?

I often knit in the evening in front of the TV and also in the car on long journeys, such as when we go to our cottage near Lake Mégantic.

What is your favorite Gibou color?

Aubergine is my favorite yarn color.

What field did you retire from?

I was a primary school teacher.

What do you like best since you retired?

Since I retired, I love my mornings because I can take my time to drink my coffee and have breakfast.

I also like being able to exercise in the morning.

I also appreciate being able to fully enjoy the opportunities that come my way, such as going out with friends and traveling.

I love spending time with my grandchildren and being available for them.

Do you have any life advice for a young adult?

When there are stressful or difficult times, go back to basics by taking care of your body and mind: eat well, get enough sleep, exercise, and surround yourself with people who bring you well-being.
